The Chinese Language Core Team is going to experiment with offering this web page as a place to post job openings for teachers of Chinese Language & Culture. We will also send out announcements of openings via our Chinese Email List. (To sign up for the Chinese Email List, complete the Registration Form.)

Seattle Schools Mandarin Teachers

Seattle Public Schools has openings for instructors of Mandarin in the District's new elementary Chinese language programs in South Seattle. The instructors will be teaching half-hour classes to K-3 students. The program is funded by a Foreign Language Assistance Program grant from the U.S. Department of Education and its focus is on learning Math in Mandarin. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin and experience teaching young children.
