What: Year-long remote-learning program for students to earn the Global Competence Certificate for Heritage Speakers and the Global Seal of Biliteracy.

Who: Washington state public high school heritage speakers of Romanian, Russian, Spanish, or Ukrainian. (Interested 8th graders are also welcome to apply.) Note that we are welcoming students this year who are just beginning to speak/read/write their heritage language AND students who are recent arrivals here and are already fluent and literate in one of these languages. The program will be engaging and valuable to any of these students.

When: See schedule of Info Sessions below. The program will run through the school year from October, 2022 through June, 2023.

Cost: The program is free for qualified public high school students, but space is limited.

Students, parents, teachers, counselors, and other interested community members are welcome to register for the information sessions. Pick the date and time that works best for you.
